To commemorate the Isra' Mi'raj of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Ar Rahman Islamic Boarding School Students Organization (OSPPA) held an inter-dormitory Musabaqah Qira'atil Kutub (Book Reading Competition) on January 15-16, 2026. Students from all dormitories enthusiastically participated in this competition, competing for the rotating Mudir Award.
This yellow book reading competition aims to improve students' ability to read, understand, and study Islamic scholarly texts, while also instilling a love for classical Islamic scholarship. Participants are judged based on reading fluency, accuracy of meaning, and understanding of the text's content.
The Mudir of the Islamic Boarding School, K. Mohamad Muhsan, S.Ag., M.Pd.I., stated that this activity is not only a competition but also a means of spreading the message and fostering the students' intellectual development. It is hoped that this competition will further enhance students' enthusiasm for learning and enable them to implement the values of Isra' Mi'raj in their daily lives.
